La Cura entstand erstmals im April 2021 bei einer Veranstaltung zur Solidarität mit dem nationalen Streik und den populären Demonstrationen, die in Kolumbien stattfanden. Aus diesem politischen und kulturellen Moment heraus wurde die Band in Berlin gegründet und bringt seitdem ihren lebendigen Sound auf Bühnen in der ganzen Stadt.
La Cura hat bereits auf einer Vielzahl von Festivals und Konzertreihen in Berlin gespielt und die Energie und Vielfalt der kolumbianischen Musik einem breiten Publikum vermittelt.
La Cura ist eine musikalische Reise durch die Wurzeln und Traditionen Kolumbiens. Die Band kombiniert Rhythmen aus der kolumbianischen Karibik wie Cumbia, Fandango, Chalupa, Porro und Tambora und schafft so eine kraftvolle und lebendige Klanglandschaft. Angetrieben vom Schlag der Trommeln, den Melodien der Stimmen und dem lebendigen Klang der Blasinstrumente, lädt ihre Musik das Publikum zum Bewegen ein.

La Cura first came together in April 2021 at an event in solidarity with the national strike and the popular demonstrations taking place in Colombia. Out of this political and cultural moment, the band was formed in Berlin and has been bringing its vibrant sound to stages across the city ever since.
The band has already performed at a wide range of festivals and concert series in Berlin, sharing the energy and diversity of Colombian music with a broad audience.
